The Rhythm Suite™ is the recording studio for Ritzy Muzik™, Barritz® and Brainz Blown Recordz™. The Rhythm Suite™ operates with both a fixed tracking and mixing facility, as well as a mobile studio.

The Rhythm Suite™ uses Universal Audio Apollo audio interfaces along with UAD Console software to achieve zero latency recording with digital audio workstations (DAWs) Apple Logic Pro, Avid Pro Tools and Universal Audio’s LUNA. An Apollo x6 is paired with an Apollo Twin X Quad in the fixed operation and the Twin X Quad is used solely for mobile recording sessions. UNISON technology allows the Apollo microphone preamplifiers to emulate classic analog mic preamps, guitar amps and pedals.

Vocal and acoustic instrument capture are handled by a Neumann TLM 103 Anniversary Edition large-diaphragm condenser microphone and a Shure SM7B dynamic cardioid vocal microphone.

Additionally, a Fender Jazz bass guitar allows for live instrumentation and an Akai MPK249 keyboard enables software and MIDI instrument control.

Fixed tracking and mixing output is experienced on a pair of Barefoot Footprint02 studio monitors as well as Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (80 ohm) headphones for tracking, and DT 880 PRO (250 ohm) headphones for mixing. The FootPrint02’s utilize Barefoot’s MEME technology which emulates the sound and translation characteristics of classic monitors such as NS10M’s and mix cubes in 4 MEME Voices (Hi-Fi, Flat, OldScl, Cube).

Complementing the hardware at The Rhythm Suite™ is a collection of plug-ins which leverage the Universal Audio UAD system, as well as native plug-ins from Universal Audio, Waves, Apple Logic Pro and Avid Pro Tools. A comprehensive list of plug-ins can be found here.
